SMS and X-ONE Touch give more time to the kids at the child-minding centre

Inter-Data is experiencing a marked increase of sales of all-in-one PCs with touch screens. One particularly interesting project is our partnership with the north Jutland start-up Eventtech, which has developed the "Child Minder", where parents SMS directly to an X-ONE Touch in the children's institution. An ordinary telephone call takes less than a minute and a half, but the teachers can reply to an SMS in a few seconds via the X-ONE screen. This has a positive effect on everyday life in the institution.

Touch screens save time and money
- Many institutions expend considerable resources on answering phone calls and passing on messages. The touch screen solution is easy and flexible, and our test results are very positive. The Child Minder gives staff more time for their core services. We therefore have a lot of faith in the product, says Lars Wamberg from Eventtech.

At Inter-Data we predict that touch-based communication will soon be in use in numerous kindergartens and child-minding centres throughout Denmark.
