The little PC which fits in everywhere
Many in-store solutions require both a good screen and a particular
PC performance. The X-ONE Digital Engine is based on Aopen and is
an economical and smart model for in-store solutions as it can sit
behind the screen. The little PC uses technology from the notebook
world, and Inter-Data builds it to order with
hardware according to needs and wishes. It's possible to
specify hard disk size, processor speed, optical drive, cordless
network, tuner etc.
Flexible solution
Digital Engines are also used with navigation systems or in
combination with a 3G network card for mobile internet in the car.
Apart from the setup with touch panels in shops and petrol
stations, the mini-computer can be used as a media centre, combined
with a thin client, connected to a projector or used as an ordinary
PC which is mounted behind the screen, thus saving space. In some
projects the PC is simply built into the screen. In a nutshell: the
Digital Engine can be used everywhere where a flexible little PC is
required.
